The Road Not Taken

I would like to share the poem below which is quite familiar among those former & current fifth formers:-

THE ROAD NOT TAKEN

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

"Similar & familiar",
I've thought about it last time when I was taught by my F4 English teacher.
Because of this feeling, I kinda fond of it as it mentioned about that we have to face in situations when we wanna make choices or decisions that would affect our life in the long run or temporarily.
Choices, are something that u sometimes could not take back when u made it. People that didn't think properly when making decisions will always end up with regretfulness or worse despair.
But, in the reality, the attitude of having the questions like "Why am I doing this or that" will not solve anything, because by the time u realize it's not going like what have u planned, u are already in the midway of doing the thing that proved to be a mistake. Just go forward & focus on correcting whatever that's reversible & bear in mind of the mistake so that one will not repeat doing it.
So, whenever u've made a mistake or wrong decisions, never look back & stop wasting ur time in regretting of what u've already missed.Just set ur eyes, look & march forward---a kind & pleasant reminder for myself & my dear friends.

haha....u remind me the good time we had in form 4....now really feel tat all of us getting older n older..
like the sentence u wrote so much-dun regret on what we have missed , instead we shd look forward..

we must each gambate in our own journey of life!!!=)
